Restylane Kysse® is a non-surgical option for men and women 21 years of age and older who are interested in restoring shape and volume to the lips and perioral regions. Contraindications for Restylane Kysse® include severe or multiple forms of allergy, a history of anaphylaxis and patients with allergies to Gram-positive bacterial proteins or lidocaine. Your VITAHL cosmetic specialist will perform your treatment in the VITAHL offices as an outpatient procedure. It is recommended to avoid alcohol and NSAIDS a few days prior to your treatment. During your treatment appointment, your provider will cleanse the treatment area and inject the amount of filler you will need to achieve your cosmetic goals. Topical anesthetic is optional 30 minutes prior to injection. Your injections will typically take 30 to 45 minutes to complete and will require little to no downtime afterward. Most patients can resume their normal schedule immediately after. Swelling and bruising with lip augmentation is expected as the lips are highly vascular.
You will experience some natural and normal side effects following your Restylane Kysse® treatment — typically some bruising and swelling — which may mask your immediate results.
